This plate reinforces the gearbox where the two bearings that hold the primary and secondary axes, which is the weakest point of them, and shows that the vast majority of cases are cracked or broken at this point, even in road cars.

It is made by CNC which guarantees an accuracy of only 0.01mm.

This reinforcement is specific and valid for all JC5 gearboxes (included Clio Sport gearboxes)

They are included along with the plate 14 extreme hardness screws for installation.

OPTIONS: It can be installed in the housing of the gearbox for 229 € in total (including reinforcement) and the following work (see options above):

-Milling gearbox by CNC of just reinforcement surface and depth of 6.00mm or at surface of clip bearing in JC5 130 (original gearbox of Clio Sport)

-Bored the 14 holes in the gearbox by CNC with high accuracy.

-14 threaded holes M8x1.25

-Installation of bearings, clips and screws applied to these Loctite frein block and tighten bolts with torque wrench.

NOTE INSTALLATION: (see last photo). You need to add about 5 mm to the original shaft recess reverse. As standard this shaft already incorporates a recess to avoid hit the 5th gear pinion, but will need to continue it at least 4mm for free with reinforcement.

Other reinforcements market have half a hole in this place, to rid the axis of the reverse without having to modify it, however, doing this is very little material in the reinforcement, and we have seen many of these reinforcements from other manufacturers broken in that point. Therefore, although more laborious, this is the only way to do well, and that's the only way we contemplate.
